The show focuses on teaching people how to be successful in their career, relationships, and health by being selfish. Not walking over others or doing whatever you feel, but truly valuing and respecting yourself, and being very thoughtful about how you live.
After seeing hundreds of clients over many years, I’ve discovered the most common cause of depression, anxiety, and relationship problems is not being selfish enough.
People choose careers to please their parents or society, instead of pursuing their passion. They stay in unfulfilling relationships because they think it’s too selfish to leave. They continue practicing poor health habits because they don’t value themselves enough to change them.
They’re so worried about being “selfish”, or being perceived that way by others, that they don’t pursue the things they love.
And when they do pursue their true interests, they feel guilty for being successful or too self-focused. This is what leads to depression, anxiety, and a lack of fulfillment.
Being selfish, though, is good, right and moral, IF you understand what it really means. To become successful and attain lasting happiness you have to truly value yourself and your life, really think about what you want, and then go after it.
I have 12 episodes already recorded including 3 interviews.
The Selfish for Success podcast will present a radically different view of selfishness, and show you how to apply it practically to your career, relationships, and health.
